Dr. John Hodgson 

MBBS, BMed Sci

Dr John Hodgson graduated from Monash University in 1978. Along with Dr Andrew Ramsay, Dr Hodgson founded Coolaroo Clinic in 1989. He has worked in Broadmeadows for over 30 years and is one of the founders of Coolaroo Clinic. Dr Hodgson has a special interest in helping patients cope with their overall health issues and the impact of their social circumstances on themselves and their families.

Dr. Andrew Ramsay 

MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Andrew Ramsay graduated from Melbourne University in 1973. Along with Dr John Hodgson, Dr Ramsay founded Coolaroo Clinic in 1989. Dr Ramsay has a special interest in Family Medicine and Minor Surgical Procedures including Skin Cancers and Vasectomies.

Dr Dominic Yong 

MBBS, Master Occ Env Health, FAFOEM

Dr Dominic Yong graduated from The University of Melbourne and has qualified as a Specialist Occupational Physician. He has been providing Occupational Medical services at the Coolaroo Clinic for workers, employers and insurers over 20 years. Dr Yong is also the President Elect for the Australian and New Zealand Society of Occupational Medicine (ANZSOM), a Presiding Member for the Medical Panels, and is accredited as an Independent Medical Examiner by WorkSafe. His special interests include undertaking specialist medical examinations and worksite assessments.

Dr Leanne Myers 

MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Leanne Myers graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1990. Dr Myers has been a key member of Coolaroo Clinic since 1995. Her special interests are Women’s Health, Implanon Insertion, Children’s Health and Mental Health. Dr Myers is also a Shared Care Doctor for antenatal care (Pregnancy care) for the Royal Womens Hospital, Mercy Womens Health, Sunshine Hospital & The Northern Hospital.

Dr Lilia Ilina 

MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Lilia Ilina graduated from the University of Sydney in 1995. Dr Ilina worked in the public hospital system for 3 years before joining the Monash University Department of Medicine in 1999. Dr Ilina has been a key member of Coolaroo Clinic since 2001. She is currently an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Ilina has a special interest in General Medicine, Children’s Health, Adolescence, Women’s Health, Travel Medicine, Anxiety and Depression. Dr Ilina is fluent in Chinese Mandarin.

Dr Jennifer Liang  

MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Jennifer Liang graduated from Sun Yat – Sen University. Dr Liang successfully completed her GP Fellowship when she came to Australia. Dr Liang has been a key member of Coolaroo Clinic since 2004. Dr Liang has special interests in Family Medicine, especially Geriatrics, Women’s Health & Children’s Health. Dr Liang is also a Shared Care Doctor for antenatal care (Pregnancy care) for the Royal Womens Hospital, Mercy Womens Health, Sunshine Hospital & The Northern Hospital. Dr Liang is fluent in Mandarin & Cantonese.

Dr Vivian Kedher

Dr Vivian Kedher graduated in Iraq in 1988. Dr Kedher has been a key member of Coolaroo Clinic since 2005. Dr Kedher has special interests in Women’s Health & Children’s Health. Dr Kedher is also a Shared Care Doctor for antenatal care (Pregnancy care) for the Royal Womens Hospital, Mercy Womens Health, Sunshine Hospital & The Northern Hospital. Dr Kedher is fluent in Arabic.

Dr Joe Slesenger

Dr Joe Slesenger qualified in Manchester UK. He worked for 15 years within the insurance field advising business on medical issues. Having moved to Australia in 2001, he qualified as a Specialist Occupational Physician. Dr Slesenger has been a key member of Coolaroo Clinic since 2005. Dr Nataliya Lishchenko

Dr Nataliya Lishchenko obtained her primary medical degree in Dnipropetrovsk State Academy of Medicine in 2001 in the Ukraine. Dr Lishchenko has special interests in Women’s Health, Children’s Health, Sexual & Reproductive Health, Implanon/Mirena & Copper IUD’s, Contraception including Medical Abortions and Antiwrinkle Injectables. Dr Minh Ha Nguyen

Dr Minh Ha Nguyen graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2010.Dr Nguyen has a special interest in Family Medicine, Minor Surgical Procedures including Skin Cancer Medicine. Dr Nguyen is fluent in Vietnamese.

Dr Mehraz Chowdhury

Dr Mehraz Chowdhury graduated from Deakin University in 2011. He completed his hospital training at Austin & Northern Hospital. Dr Chowdhury has a special interest in Family Medicine, Children’s Health, Sport Medicine, Travel Medicine and Nursing Home Care. He is fluent in Bengail & Hindi.

Dr Andrew Schon

Dr Schon completed his Graduate Diploma Occupational Medicine Monash in 1991-1992. He is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Occupational Medicine, and has been a full time Occupational medicine practitioner since 1991. Dr Schon’s special interests are psychiatric and organisational aspects of occupational health

Dr Chunxia (Don) Zhang

MBBS

After graduating from Monash university in 2009, Dr Don received extensive hospital training in all fields of medicine especially in Emergency medicine and General surgery. He finished his training in general practise in 2021 with high distinction. Apart from family medicine, he has special interests in dermatology, particularly skin checks and lesion removals, weight management, children’s health, and all aspects of musculoskeletal complains.

Dr Liam Ryan

Dr Liam Ryan is a GP registrar continuing his GP specific training at Coolaroo Clinic this year.
Dr Ryan graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2019 with a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery. He has worked in a number of major hospitals across metropolitan South Australia and Victoria before commencing his General Practice training in 2023.
 
Dr Ryan has a variety of clinical interests including paediatrics, men’s health, sexual health, mental health and obstetrics/women’s health. He has completed additional training with a Certificate of Women’s Health through RANZCOG in 2022.
 
Outside of work, he enjoys going for hikes, travelling, spending time with friends and family and walks with his dog.

Dr Harry Chow

Specialist Occupational and Environmental Physician

Dr Harry Chow is a Specialist Occupational and Environmental Physician, that has worked in the field of occupational medicine since 2017. Dr Chow has extensive experience in a range of industries including logistics, rail, mining, fire and rescue and oil and gas. His postgraduate qualifications include a Master of Occupational and Environmental Health by Research from Monash University. Dr Chow was awarded the AFOEM Ramazzini Presentation Prize for best scientific paper related to Occupational and Environmental medicine at the RACP Congress 2022. He is accredited for AMA4 and AMA5 assessments and is a Certified Independent Medical Examiner (CIME) with the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners (ABIME). He is currently the chairperson of the Victorian branch of The Australian and New Zealand Society of Occupational Medicine. He is available for fitness for duty, permanent impairment and worksite assessments.
