About Us

Coolaroo Clinic is an exceptional facility which has been established since 1989. Providing patients with helpful staff and caring doctors has always been the drive surrounding the success of this facility.

The clinic consists of over 15 general practitioners as well as specialists and allied health practitioners who complement each other and strive towards our objective of providing quality health care. In addition, there is a chemist and a pathology service onsite, which offers our patients the convenience of a full range of services in one location.

We are conveniently located 15 minutes from The Northern Hospital and 5 minutes from Broadmeadows Health Service. The clinic is readily accessible via Cooper Street, Edgars Road, Pascoe Vale Road or the Hume Freeway.

Requirements

• have developed organisational skills and efficient time management to appropriate evaluate, prioritise and complete workload
• have open and effective communication skills (verbal, non-verbal, written and electronic) with clients, other staff and service providers.
• be registered with AHPRA.
• have a Medicare, TAC and WorkSafe provider registration or be able to apply for these registrations.
• have a minimum of 2 years of experiences in demonstrated ability to work effectively with people with a number of mental health issues incorporating complex intervention strategies
• Proven oral and written communication skills including demonstrated experience writing comprehensive reports, correspondence and intervention plans
• Proven ability to work independently to manage own role and responsibility in a varied work environment

Selection Criteria

• Current Specialist or General Registration with AHPRA
• Eligibility to access Medicare
• Current Appropriate Medical Indemnity or eligibility for such
• Applied knowledge, skills and experience in general practice
• Focus on Chronic Disease Management with comprehensive Allied Health Support
• Confident in performing Minor Procedures
• Eligibility and right to work in Australia
• Can work flexible hours
• A minimum of 3 professional references are required
